Summary

I am a PhD graduate of UT Health San Antonio’s Radiological Sciences program. My graduate studies comprised joint training in Diagnostic Medical Physics and Neuroscience imaging. For my dissertation work I researched big-data methods for using neuroimaging data in the modeling of human brain abnormalities that are attributed to mood disorders.

I have a broad background of training and research in Physics (BS) and Computer Science (MS). I have a lifelong interest in the topics that arise from the intersection of these two exciting fields.

I currently work as a researcher in private industry where I continue to research a advanced image acquisition and reconstruction techniques. My current research focus encompasses remote sensing applications of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging.
